Alex Nderi popularly known as DJ Lithium passed on last evening at Nairobi hospital after attempts to save his life were unsuccessful.
Sources stated that the Disk Jockey took A Rat poison while at Capital FM and left behind a suicide note which is noted that it’s privy to the family.
After he took the poison, he walked from the toilet back to the offices and collapsed, Lithium also texted close friends and family telling them he is gone.
The deejay also reportedly pulled down all his social media accounts before writing the suicide note.The only online presence he has left behind is his music mixes on the various music streaming sites.
The 34-years-old, described himself as a “Music Lover”, he is known as a versatile Dj but his strength and passion are in playing EDM and Afrohouse.
Dj Lithium was also a producer on Capital Fm,events host and enjoyed his disk jockeying at Capital FM where he hosted the Club Capital show, every Friday from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM and on the Jam Fridays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
